Unit 3 Editing A Worksheet in MS Excel 2016
OBJECTIVES:-
By the end of the chapter, Students will be able to explain

- Copying & Moving data
- Using Auto fill feature
LESSON PLAN
(PERIOD-WISE DISTRIBUTION) OF COURSE
Period Allotted (2 Theory + 1 Practical)
Period 1:- Begin the lesson by explaining the importance of editing worksheets in MS Excel. Highlight the benefits of editing, such as correcting mistakes, updating data, and improving the visual appearance of the worksheet. Explain the process of selecting a cell and entering date, time & text in Excel. Show students how to navigate through the worksheet using the arrow keys and scroll bars. Explain the concept of active cells and how to identify them. Demonstrate how to edit cell content by double-clicking on a cell or selecting it and typing directly. Teach students how to use the Delete and Backspace keys to remove cell contents. Show the process of copying and pasting cell content using the keyboard shortcuts or the Paste command.
Period 2:- This time student will ready to learn about the Redo and Undo Options. Show students how to adjust the height of rows and width of columns to fit the content. Explain the Auto Fill feature to automatically adjust the row or column size based on the content. Teach the students how to insert and delete rows or columns as needed.
Period 3 (Practical):- Assign a worksheet or project where students can apply the skills learned to create and edit a worksheet. Review the completed assignments to assess students' proficiency in editing a worksheet in MS Excel 2016.
Notes:- The duration of each activity can be adjusted based on the pace and progress of the students. Additional activities or examples can be included to enhance the learning experience.
