LESSON PLAN
(PERIOD-WISE DISTRIBUTION OF COURSE)
Period Allotted (2 Theory+1 Practical)
Period 1 (Introduction of Topic):- Begin the lesson by discussing the concept of the internet and its importance in our lives. Ask students about their online activities and experiences, and whether they have encountered any challenges or risks while using the internet. Define cyber safety as the practice of protecting oneself and personal information while using the internet.
Explain the advantages and dis advantages of internet. Discuss the Computer ethics.
Period 2:- Explain the unethical practices. Under this topic briefly discuss (Plagiarism, measures to prevent plagiarism, cyber bullying, phishing, hacking, phishing, spamming and software piracy Intellectual property rights. Discuss potential risks and dangers of the internet, such as cyber bullying, identity theft, online scams, and exposure to inappropriate content.
Emphasize the importance of being cautious and responsible while using the internet, and highlight the potential consequences of reckless online behavior. Discuss safety measure while using computer and the internet.
Period 3(Practical):- Summarize the key points of the lesson and remind students of the importance of being responsible and safe online. Encourage students to practice safe online behavior and to speak up if they ever feel uncomfortable or threatened online.
Notes:- Use educational online platforms or website that offer interactive games or quizzes on cyber safety to engage students in a fun and engaging way.
